Pink Eyez

Dear Linda,
Yesterday I woke up and my right eye was red and hurting and I thought to myself ‘oh no, pink eye.’ Today I woke up and that right eye was, well let’s just say, worse. And my left eye looked like the right one the day before. I went to the doctor today and got some antibiotics and a note for my classes today. I don’t know how bad my left one is going to be doing tomorrow morning. What exactly should I do? Is tomorrow’s class chromatography because I don’t want to miss that?
Sincerely,
******* ******
P.S. is there any way that i could get a plate and incubate my pink eye...;)
******,
Poor you! Don't worry. Turns out what we do tomorrow is quick and easy.
I can be done on the same day as the column (day 1 - harvest protein,
day 2 - column) both are 1.5 hour operations. Come in a tiny bit early
on Wed and you'll be fine.
About the email I sent re the plasmid. I'm actually going to ask everyone
to do this as a practice for electrophoresis (for unit 3).
About the culturing your infection. Actually, it's pretty unwise to
grow a proven human pathogen. Certainly in our lab with minimal
containment. Sorry.
Linda
Dear Linda,
About the culturing of my infection: I think this is a good opprotunity for us to smite our enemies/ start a pink eye epidemic at a rival college.
Please reconsider.
